Right and so I have Autodesk Inventor on a student license, and I use the metric organization.

I've been able to change the settings for parts, presentations and assemblies to use millimeters, but for some reason the drawing sheets still use inches.

How do I change the unit of measurement settings for drawing sheets?

If you want to make a permanent alter and then goto Application Options, Configure Default Template and select mm. Come across the attached screen grab.

Y'all can change a drawing sheet to use millimeters by going to the Tools tab > Document Settings button > Standard tab and choosing a metric / millimeter standard.

I should accept been more than explicit in my reply.

Yous need to open the Awarding Options, so click on the File tab of this, then click on the Default Template and alter the measurement units to mm and the cartoon standard to ISO. See the attached file.

Once yous do that if you are going to demand a metric templet on a regular ground so you need to relieve in the Templet "dir" as a Metric format.
